Privacy Policy

    Last updated: May 26, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how PlumoAI collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website, managed cloud offering, contact forms, sponsorship flows, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). It is written to reflect how PlumoAI is documented publicly: an Autonomous AI Employees platform with hosted and self-hosted deployment options, built-in project management, web documentation, and AI agent integrations.

    Service Models and Data Responsibility

PlumoAI offers both a managed cloud experience and a self-hosted deployment model.

    • Managed cloud: when you use PlumoAI-hosted services, PlumoAI may process account data, billing/contact data, usage data, support requests, and service logs needed to operate and secure the service.
    • Self-hosted: when you deploy PlumoAI on your own infrastructure, you control the environment, storage, networking, user access, and operational data inside that deployment. In that case, the organization operating the deployment is primarily responsible for the data processed in that environment.
    • Website and business communications: if you contact us, request sponsorship, request enterprise collaboration, or submit a form, PlumoAI processes the information you send directly to us.

    Information We Collect

    • Contact and account data: name, email address, company, role, communication preferences, and any information you submit when contacting us or registering for hosted access.
    • Workspace and usage data: tasks, documentation, project metadata, prompts, settings, log files, browser/device details, IP address, and performance telemetry necessary to operate the managed service.
    • Support and sponsorship data: messages, business inquiries, enterprise requirements, sponsorship details, and follow-up history.
    • Payment-related data: when you purchase hosted credits or make a contribution, payment processing may be handled by third-party providers. PlumoAI does not intentionally store full card details on this website.

    How We Use Information

    • Operate, secure, maintain, and improve the website and managed cloud services.
    • Respond to contact requests, business inquiries, support requests, and sponsorship discussions.
    • Provide hosted credits, onboarding, enterprise coordination, and service communications.
    • Investigate abuse, misuse, security issues, and reliability incidents.
    • Understand product usage trends so we can improve AI employees, workflows, docs, and integrations.
    • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements, policies, and license terms.

    Data Sharing

    • Service providers: infrastructure, analytics, communication, authentication, and payment vendors who help us operate the Services.
    • Legal and safety disclosures: where required to comply with law, protect users, investigate abuse, or enforce our rights.
    • Business transfers: if PlumoAI undergoes a merger, financing, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred as part of that transaction subject to applicable law.

    Self-Hosted Environments

PlumoAI’s public documentation emphasizes full data control for self-hosted deployments. If you run PlumoAI using official Docker images on your own infrastructure, the storage, backups, access controls, logs, databases, and uploaded content in that environment are governed by your own hosting, policies, and operational decisions. PlumoAI only receives information from that environment if you choose to contact us, request support, or use separately hosted PlumoAI services.

    Security and Retention

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information under our control. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we work to reduce risk and improve our protections over time. We retain information for as long as necessary to provide the Services, manage business relationships, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

    Your Rights

    • Request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we control.
    • Request information about how your data is used for managed services or business communications.
    • Object to or limit certain processing where applicable under law.

To make a privacy-related request, contact business@plumoai.com. We will handle requests in accordance with applicable law and the role PlumoAI plays in the relevant data flow.

    International Transfers

If information is processed across borders, we take commercially reasonable steps to protect it in a manner consistent with this Privacy Policy and applicable law.

    Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time as the platform, hosted offering, integrations, or legal requirements evolve. When we do, we will post the revised policy on this page and update the effective date.
